Calling all gardening novices and experts alike! Take home the perfect seeds for your garden from our free Seed Library.

How can I "check out" packets of seeds?

Select a card with a picture of the seeds you want from the Seed Library display at any of our library locations. Bring it to the library service desk, where a staff member will take the card from you, "check out" the seeds with your library card, and give you the seeds you’ve selected. The seeds are yours to keep; you don't need to return anything to the library. Seed packets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and holds are not allowed.

How many types of seeds can I check out at a time?

You may check out up to three different types of seeds every seven days.

What types of seeds are available?

The varieties of seeds we have in stock change often, with the biggest new selections in spring and summer.

Currently Available Seeds
