AARP Tax-Aide Program

IRS-trained and certified volunteers provide free basic assistance with filing federal and state taxes online. This service is open to anyone but is aimed at moderate-income and low-income people ages 50 and older. Volunteers cannot assist with business or complicated individual returns. Please note that appointments are required.

VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance)

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to people who generally make $60,000 or less, persons with disabilities and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals. Please bring your own pens. For more information, call 1-800-906-9887.
