Memorial Donations
The library welcomes gifts that present an opportunity to carry on the life interests of an individual or group, or that celebrate a special and meaningful occasion. Donors may suggest a subject, or selection will be made by library staff. The donor's name and the person or organization being honored are inscribed on a book plate placed in each book. The materials are then placed on our shelves for the enjoyment of all library patrons. For more information, please fill out the online form below or call Dawn Ferro, Deputy Director of Library Services, at 623-930-3554.

Book and Material Donations
All Glendale Public Library locations accept donations of gently used books and DVDs/Blu-rays. Specialty items that will assist with library programs, such as jigsaw puzzles for Puzzle Swaps and arts & crafts supplies for Arts & Crafts Supply Swaps, are also welcome. To donate materials, look for a donation bin inside the library or bring your items to any service desk. For more information, please call 623-930-3600.
The library does not accept encyclopedias, textbooks, outdated medical/legal texts, magazines, or VHS/cassette tapes. The library also does not accept damaged, soiled, or moldy materials. All items are evaluated by librarians to determine if donations will be added to the collection. Donations not added to the collection will be sold in our sales or otherwise redistributed. Your gifts are tax deductible. Please note that staff are not permitted to assess the value of donated materials.
